Summary

The ideal Business Development Professional is an experienced, highly motivated professional who is results-oriented and focuses directly on selling webinar marketing services to financial advisors across North America.

The ideal candidate has a sales hunter skill set and is adept at turning warm and cold leads into new business using provided scripts and templates. Candidates who do not have experience in the financial or digital marketing space but do have experience in other sales areas may be considered.

Ongoing training, mentoring and coaching will be provided by industry experts and consultants, on staff. We are invested in your success and development -when you win, we win.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Acquire new clients through a consistent method of direct outbound contact to decision-makers as well as follow-up to inbound leads.
  • Qualify prospects, create and deliver effective sales presentations, prepare proposals and contracts, and drive sales.
  • Manage prospect relationships throughout the sales cycle, from lead to client.
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue goals, measured through daily/weekly/monthly activity KPIs.
  • Track all sales leads, provide regular status reports, and manage task lists on acquired and assigned accounts
  • Maintain a positive attitude and a high standard of professionalism.

Required Knowledge & Skills

  1. 3+ years of sales experience in a B2B environment (or transferable experience in B2B sales)
  2. Strong understanding of sales and sales skillsets.
  3. Solutions and consultative selling experience.
  4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  6. Exceptional organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Demonstrated self-starter & results-oriented achiever.
  8. Highly skilled in all Microsoft products and lead generation/sales software

Required Education & Experience

  1. Working in a busy office environment with frequent interruptions
  2. Interaction with employees, management, and the public at large
  3. Operation of laptop computer and peripherals
